RER 1008 – REGIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON AIR SAMPLING AND NUCLEAR ANALYTICAL CHARACTERISATION OF ATMOSPHERIC PARTICULATE MATTER (APM), INCLUDING QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC)

Purpose: The purpose of the training course is to provide participants with technical knowledge and practical demonstrations on sampling of Atmospheric Particulate Matter (APM), X-ray fluorescence analysis and ion beam analysis of APM including quantification methods and QA/QC procedures data analysis and data interpretation.

Scope and Nature: The training course will include presentations, lectures and practical demonstrations covering the topics related to the use of nuclear analytical techniques for airborne particulate matter characterization.
