Radioecology

Department of Physics, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek

Course summary

The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the basic notions of radioactivity, sources of radiation, measuring radioactivity, impact on humans, radiation protection. Students are theoretically and practically introduced to various approaches and methods of measuring ionising radiation. Students are theoretically and practically introduced to the various approaches and methods of measuring ionising radiation and the biological impact of radiation.
